Team Lewis
October 2018 we hosted Lewis Bryant, 9 years old from Point Pleasant, WV. Lewis is battling Osteosarcoma and had part of his left arm amputated due to the disease.
It was a dream come true for Lewis, his brother Khileel and his mother Tabitha. Lewis had never been to a beach! Lewis wanted to go on a “real” fishing trip.
Our Healing Hearts team made a whirlwind trip to the OBX to meet Lewis and his family. We had a blast! We connected with Marc Kerns of Rock On Fishing Charters who took us on a memorable fishing trip. We laughed, we got wet, we saw so many dolphins!
